On the first Sunday in October, Christians around the world celebrate World Communion Sunday. Together we remember that Jesus is the Head of the Church and that all Christians everywhere are part of the Lord’s one global church charged with the same mission to “declare the praises of him who called [us] out of darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Peter 2:9).
