We conclude our summer series titled Whispers of Hope: Listening to the Minor Prophets. Through the prophet Zechariah, God engages his people who started strong in faith but stalled out in obedience. It’s a challenge that resonates with us today and is accompanied by God’s profound invitation: “‘Return to me,’ declares the Lord Almighty, ‘and I will return to you’” (Zechariah 1:3). When we do, we live not by might or power, but by the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
