We begin a new series this weekend titled “The Holy Spirit: Growing in Relationship with God the Spirit.” The Holy Spirit has been called the neglected person of the Godhead, to the point where our “trinity” seems to be Father, Son, and Holy Scripture. But scripture speaks frequently and clearly about the person of the Holy Spirit and the work of the Spirit in the world, the church, and the life of individual Christians. The goal of this series is not just to grow in understanding but in relationship with the Holy Spirit.
