We’re in the first full week of Lent. This season is intended to parallel the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness confronting the temptations common to humanity – appetite, approval and ambition. It is a season of turning back to God and returning to our true identity as children of God.
The sermon series for Lent is titled “Let Justice Roll Down.” It’s a series in the book of Amos, where we are considering what the Bible says about issues of justice and what that means for the church today.
Last Sunday we were able to resume our Fifth Kids program. We are not yet ready to open the nurseries, but we are excited to invite our Pre-K-5th graders to “Walk Out Worship.” This is an age-appropriate time of worship and learning for 20-30 minutes during the second half of the morning service.
We are meeting in person for worship at 10AM on Sunday morning, and you are welcome to visit. Because of Covid, our capacity is limited, and we ask that you pre-register for the service. Please see our Covid-19 Action Plan for more details.
Listen to Fifth’s most recent teachings, fill out your Connection Card, and easily donate all from the convenience of your smartphone.
