Growing Kids in their walk with Jesus: Fifth Kids is a place where kids come to learn about God in a safe, exciting, friendly and fun environment. Beyond parents and the home, church can be the environment that fosters the beginning of a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
We partner with parents to help kids establish a strong spiritual foundation. Through programs at Fifth we teach kids about Jesus and the Bible. Using the Gospel Project curriculum, kids walk through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation while learning scripture and how to put the Word of God into action at home and school. We also help equip parents with resources to be able to engage in spiritual conversations, lead family devotions and pray with their children.
What to Expect when you visit Fifth Kids
Fifth Kids-Early Childhood (Infants through Young 5’s)
We desire to partner with parents in discipling their children to know God. That’s why we take every opportunity to share God’s love with all kids–beginning with our littlest ones. Our lessons are full of songs, play, and fun activities. The nursery is well-staffed with incredible moms, dads, and other loving adults who care for your children.
Newborns through PreK are welcome in our nursery classrooms located in the main hallway behind the Fifth Kids registration desk. Our nursery space is designed to meet the spiritual and developmental needs of our babies, toddlers, and pre-kindergarten children while providing a safe and playful environment. In our preschool room kids will get to do fun crafts, listen to Bible stories, and pray together.
Fifth Kids-Elementary (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
Fifth Kids Worship (FKW) is our gathering for K-5th graders that meets on Sundays during the worship service. Once you check in your kids before the service, you will have them join you in the sanctuary for the first part of worship. This is a wonderful time for everyone to worship together! Then, before the sermon, we’ll dismiss the kids to their own fun, interactive teaching time and small groups.
During the school year, Fifth Kids Worship gathers to explore the Gospel story. We use a chronological Bible curriculum, The Gospel Project, to show how all Scripture points us to Jesus. Each week kids see how the Bible fits together to tell one big story—God’s plan to rescue and redeem sinners through faith in Jesus Christ.
We want all of our kids to be true disciples of Jesus. We know that, as parents or guardians, God has given you the incredible responsibility of loving and training them in the Bible (Deuteronomy 6:5-7). Our hope is that what we do on a Sunday only reinforces what you do at home. That’s why we’ll support you with training and tools to help you guide your children in knowing God’s voice and responding to him in faith.
Safety
The physical and emotional health of each child is our top priority. We desire to protect our children and our volunteers while providing an environment that is nurturing so that our children can actively learn about the God who loves them.
Each Sunday, you’ll check your child into Fifth Kids at the Welcome Desk. Upon check-in, a name tag (for the child) and claim tag (for the parent) will be printed. After checking in, you’ll bring your child (birth-3yrs old) to their age-specific classroom. Children PreK-5th grade join you for the opening worship in the sanctuary before they are dismissed to Fifth Kids Worship upstairs. At the end of the service, simply present your claim tag to pick-up your child from their classroom.

How do you teach the Bible to kids?
We teach the Bible using age-appropriate stories, interactive teaching, energetic worship songs, fun activities, and Scripture memorization.
