We are a Christ-centered, multi-generational community with many young families. Though we’re a denominational church, we feel more like a community church because there are people from many different backgrounds.
We’re a church focused on learning to live, love, and lead like Jesus. Jesus rooted his life in his relationship with God and lived from that identity. Jesus invested in a group of friends that grew into a spiritual family who joined him in his work. And Jesus engaged the larger world with mercy, justice, healing and teaching.
In this way, Jesus lived a three-dimensional life – Up with God, In with others, and Out with a world in need. We are committed to be a church who does the same.
In this commitment, we have four priorities:
- Worship God
- Make Disciples
- Develop Leaders
- Plant Churches
What are Sunday mornings like?
Families
If you are a family with children, you will find the Fifth Kids check-in desk just through the lobby to the left. Someone will greet you and help you through the process if you’d like your kids to participate. There is high-quality nursery care for infants and toddlers. Kids K-5th grade participate in the opening portion of the service and then move to an age-appropriate time of worship and learning. Parents pick them up after the service in our Fifth Kids wing upstairs.
Worship Space
The worship service is in the sanctuary. That’s to the right as you enter lobby. We have a blended style of worship meaning we have a band, we use the organ, and we sing a wide variety of songs for worship from ancient to contemporary. We project the words of the songs on the wall and sing together.
Most people seem to dress “business casual,” though you are welcome to come as you are. Some will be in jeans. You might see a sport coat or two. We’re an eclectic and easy-going group.
You can sit in the pews on the main floor or in the balcony. There’s also an overflow area with round tables for families or those who are less mobile. And in the rear of the sanctuary there are few high-top tables.
There is a LOOP system for those with hearing aids. And we livestream our service on YouTube. That livestream is available here on our website.

Warm & Welcoming
After the service, we linger in the lobby for coffee and snacks. This is a great time to meet new friends and discover more about life at Fifth.
