Community Groups
A Community Group is a small group of Christians dedicated to growing their faith together by digging into Scripture, supporting one another, growing in prayer, and enjoying the gift of friendship together.
Community Groups are made up of 6-12 adults and typically include a shared meal. Some groups choose to do this potluck-style while others may take turns providing the meal; some groups choose to meet on Wednesday nights to take advantage of the midweek meal at Fifth.
After eating, we encourage a discussion based on the prior week’s sermon followed by a time of prayer for one another. The printed worship guide and the Fifth app provide sermon questions to prompt your conversation. We recommend having a clear start and end time, keeping your regular meetings to 1.5 or 2 hours.
Breaking Bread
Breaking Bread is a small group opportunity for individuals and families to share a meal together.
Groups of three households will be connected for the purpose of sharing a meal together once a month for three months. Each group will have a volunteer coordinator who will take the lead in communicating with the group. Groups are encouraged to rotate hosting responsibility and meeting location.
Typically, groups eat one meal in the home of each household represented, but this doesn’t have to be the case. You can meet at a restaurant or have a picnic. This is a great first step to get to know others.
Women’s Ministries
Welcome to Women @ Fifth! Our vision is to help women grow in their walk with Jesus through:
- Bible Studies
- Discipling
- Mentoring
- Fellowship Gatherings
- Events
It is our prayer that women will seek to know Christ in a deeper way and be able to share the good news of the gospel with others.
Mentoring
Seeking to develop spiritual growth through one on one relationships? Check out our Mentoring opportunity at Fifth! Each pair will be unique, meeting perhaps once, twice, or many more times. The participants will further their relationship with Jesus Christ and with each other.
If you want to know more about this opportunity, please contact Deb Cox at debfish33@hotmail.com.
