We continue our series titled Revelation: Till the Bridegroom Returns. The letter of Revelation primarily reveals the heavenly perspective on our earthly situation. So far in the letter, we’ve seen a series of seven seals and seven trumpets. This weekend we see the seven bowls of God’s wrath poured out on a world that adamantly refused to come home to God. And yet, there is an underlying mercy in these plagues as the invitation to repent remains open until the very end. We live on the threshold of eternity, and we do well to live with the end in mind.
